The American Red Cross, along with local partners, installed 1,236 smoke alarms in the Northern California Coastal Region in April. Sound The Alarm is part of the national Red Cross Home Fire Campaign, which has saved over 2,000 lives since 2014.

Her passion to help others led her to join the Red Cross and volunteer at the Presidio Clinic in Monterey, CA. Working alongside military and civilian staff, Crystal had the opportunity to provide guidance and mentorship, drawing from own her personal experience.
