Prepare with Pedro is a 30- to 45-minute preparedness education program for grades K-2 that uses storytelling and hands-on activities to teach students how to be prepared for and take action during an emergency. The presentation takes about 30 minutes.
The Pillowcase Project is a 45- to 60-minute preparedness program designed for children in grades 3 through 5. The program aims to increase awareness and understanding of natural hazards, teach safety and emotional coping skills, as well as the importance of personal preparedness.
Each month, Red Cross volunteers will be teaching free virtual Be Red Cross Ready and Hands-Only CPR classes that are open to the public.
Be Red Cross Ready presentations will be the first Wednesday of each month from 6:00 - 6:45 p.m., and Hands-Only CPR presentations will be the second Friday of each month from 3:00 - 3:30 p.m. Attendees can choose which disaster preparedness topics they'd like covered and can choose to also become future Hands-Only CPR presenters by staying on for some additional training.

Hands-Only CPR is a free, easy to learn 30-minute presentation designed to teach individuals of all ages how to deliver lifesaving CPR care without rescue breaths.
