Themed “Building Bridges of Hope,” the gala took place on Thursday, March 21 at Pier 27 in San Francisco. The event was attended by more than 300 Bay Area notables who helped recognize this year’s honorees, the Regional Blood Services Volunteer Committee and Delta Dental, and raise funds for Red Cross Blood Services. Read our post-event press release, linked below, to learn more about this special night.
If you missed this year’s event but would like to make a donation to support our mission, please contact us at nccrevents@redcross.org.
New for 2024, we’ve launched a virtual blood drive in support of our Gala that this year will raise funds to support Red Cross blood services. The Red Cross is the nation’s largest blood provider, distributing some 40 percent of blood to U.S. hospitals. But the blood supply constantly chases demand, and the call for blood and platelet donors is one we make often. You can help make a difference.
The Red Cross Gala Virtual Blood Drive runs now through the end of April, and donations may be made anywhere in the U.S. that the Red Cross collects blood. It’s easy, convenient, and will help save lives. Sign up today to help us meet our goal of 50 donation appointments made before our Gala event on March 21.
Please contact nccrevents@redcross.org with any questions. Please note it can take up to five (5) days for your donation to populate in the Virtual Blood Drive page’s online counter. Only appointments made via the Virtual Blood Drive page will count toward the Red Cross Gala Virtual Blood Drive.”
