HONOLULU, HI: August 12, 2019 — Kitty Yannone (photo attached) is serving her first term as Chair of the American Red Cross of Hawaii Board of Directors. She is the Chief Executive Officer of CommPac, LLC. Kitty was first elected to the board in 2007 and has actively served on the Board for 10 years, most recently as Vice Chair. In 2009, the Hawaii State Chapter awarded her its Chairman’s Cup for her vision and leadership in establishing the “Corporate Partners Program.” The program secures annual financial support from Hawaii businesses to fund the mission of the Red Cross. “I can’t think of another organization that does more than the Red Cross to aid and assist all of the people of Hawaii on every island,” Yannone said. “Whether it’s a personal accident or major natural disaster, the Red Cross is there.”
Other Officers are Board Vice Chair Jeffrey Shonka (President & CEO, First Insurance Company of Hawaii), Treasurer Dan Giovanni (Community Volunteer), and Secretary Maya Rogers (President & CEO, Blue Planet Software).
