The Greater Indianapolis Chapter of the American Red Cross Indiana Region is proud to announce the addition of three new board members: Natalie Guzman, Nate Spitz, and Jodi Whitney.  

Natalie Guzman is the Executive Director for Enterprise Communications at Cummins, where she drives employee and executive communications and oversees channel and editorial management.

Natalie spent 21 years in the financial services industry with Fifth Third Bank, where she held several roles across communications and marketing functions. As the director of corporate communications, she led comprehensive strategies including internal, external, and CEO communications, alongside reputation and crisis management.

Natalie holds a Bachelor of Science in Public Relations and Marketing from Ball State University and a master’s degree in organizational and leadership management from Western Governors University.

Nathan (Nate) Spitz is the General Manager for the Door Control Business Unit at Allegion PLC, which specializes in security products and solutions. Nate has worked in the security industry for more than 18 years and has held several roles throughout his time with Allegion.

Nate holds a bachelor’s degree from Purdue University and a master’s degree from Notre Dame Mendoza College of Business. He also completed business certificates from Massachusetts Institute of Technology and Harvard Business School.

Jodi Whitney is the Vice President of Human Resources and Chief Diversity Officer for Citizens Energy Group where she oversees all aspects of human resources. She has been with Citizens Energy Group for 23 years, serving in various roles.

Jodi holds a Bachelor of Science in Management & Human Resources from Indiana University and a Master of Business Administration in Organizational Leadership from the University of Indianapolis. She is a Senior Human Resources Professional (SHRM-SCP®) and was recognized as the 2022 Ogletree Deakins HR Professional of the Year.

The American Red Cross of Greater Indianapolis volunteer board includes more than 25 civic and corporate leaders from a range of professional backgrounds and serves five counties across the Greater Indianapolis area.
