Volunteer Opportunities

Thank you for your interest in volunteering with the American Red Cross Kentucky Region. Below are some of the many volunteer opportunities available with our organization.

Brewing Compassion

Join us at a volunteer outreach event held at a coffee shop near you to learn more about becoming a Red Cross volunteer. Red Cross staff will be on hand to talk about the different volunteer opportunities available in your community and help you through the sign-up process. We hope to see you there!

Doyle Rambo

Doyle supports the Bluegrass Area Chapter in the Kentucky Region with the upkeep of our Disaster Emergency Response Vehicles. He keeps our vehicles stocked of supplies and food during disasters. Doyle has deployed twelve times to large scale disasters nationwide. A proud Veteran, Doyle provides our Lexington office with American Flag duty. Doyle also holds positions as a CPR Presenter, Disaster Instructor, and a local representative for Veterans Affairs Voluntary Service (VAVS).

Doyle has been a volunteer since 2007 and has logged over 6,000 hours.
