2021 Boston Heroes Breakfast

In March 2021, the American Red Cross of Massachusetts launched the inaugural Heroes Breakfast, Boston. This virtual gathering, chaired by Bob Reynolds, President and CEO of Putnam Investments, honored heroes among us – men and women on the frontlines of the Coronavirus pandemic and beyond - exemplary individuals exhibiting extraordinary acts of courage, kindness and service.

The Heroes Breakfast will be a marquee gathering in Boston for years to come and we thank all those who were able to join us in honoring these unsung leaders. The momentous virtual launch of this event took place on the one-year anniversary of the Coronavirus pandemic.

Meet Our 2021 Heroes

Mission:

The American Red Cross prevents and alleviates human suffering in the face of emergencies by mobilizing the power of volunteers and the generosity of donors.

Service Delivery in Massachusetts:

The American Red Cross shelters, feeds and provides emotional support to victims of disasters; supplies approximately 40 percent of the nation’s blood; teaches skills that save lives; provides international humanitarian aid; and supports military members and their families. In Massachusetts, the Red Cross also runs one of the largest food pantries in the Northeast and touches thousands of lives annually. Come be part of our lifesaving mission.
