Bridget joined the American Red Cross in 2025 and serves as the Executive Director of the Northern Nevada Chapter. Leading a team of dedicated staff and volunteers, she oversees Red Cross programs and services for over 800,000 residents across 12 counties and Carson City. Bridget is passionate about the Red Cross mission—to prevent and alleviate human suffering during emergencies by harnessing the power of volunteers and the generosity of donors.
With a career deeply rooted in nonprofit leadership and community impact, Bridget brings extensive experience from roles in education, environmental advocacy and humanitarian support. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Environmental Studies and Earth Sciences and a master’s degree in Education from the University of California, Santa Cruz. Early in her career, she worked as a Naturalist and Program Director for Exploring New Horizons Outdoor School, where she connected thousands of students with nature and led a team of educators.
Her leadership path later extended to roles such as Executive Director of Girls on the Run in Hailey, Idaho, and Development Supervisor at the Hunger Coalition, where she strengthened donor relations, organized impactful events, and supported essential programs that provided aid to vulnerable populations.
At the Northern Nevada Chapter, Bridget works closely with community partners, elected officials and Red Cross volunteers to enhance preparedness, provide disaster relief, organize blood drives and support military families. She believes in the transformational power of volunteering and is committed to building a stronger, more resilient Northern Nevada community.
