Disaster Action Team: Be part of a team that helps respond to provide 24-hour immediate support and assistance to individuals and families who have been impacted by a home fire or other local disaster.

Disaster Duty Officer: Deploy local Disaster action team members to local disasters virtually

Disaster Health Services Team: You can use your professional skills as a licensed healthcare provider to deliver hands-on care and education to shelter residents. Qualified licenses include RN, LPN, LVN, EMT, Paramedic, MD, DO, PA, NP, and APRN. 

Blood Donor Ambassador: Assist with the reception and greeting of our blood donors. An important part of this role is to provide excellent customer service to our donors, assisting them as they check in. This helps to ensure our blood donors feel welcomed and appreciated.

Transportation Specialist (must be 18 years or older): Transport life-saving blood to local hospitals and/or distribution points using small Red Cross vans.

Reconnection Workshop Adult Facilitator: Provide Reconnection Workshop modules to military, veterans and their families in various community-based settings.

Event support volunteer: Assist with local tabling events/briefings at various military outreach functions to share the Red Cross mission and how we service our military communities.

Recruitment Volunteer: Help recruit new volunteers for general and specific volunteer opportunities. Assist in researching outreach events, fairs and community groups to set up recruitment presentations and community engagement events. As well as administrative tasks and virtual outreach.

Engagement Volunteer: Assist with screening and orientation to help new volunteers that are being introduced to the Red Cross.

Facilities /Fleet Volunteer: Assist with basic facilities projects at the local Red Cross Unit. Help coordinate the scheduling, utilization, maintenance and documentation of American Red Cross vehicles to ensure the organization has a fully operational and deployable fleet.

Administration Assistant: Support the Red Cross by performing administrative duties to support a specific team, department, or territory.

Fundraising Administrative Volunteer: Help fulfill fundraising needs and provide support for annual fundraising events; chapter stewardship efforts such as mailings, thank you calls to donors; conduct thank you calls/notes to donors; office assistance; and donor database maintenance.

Public Affairs Volunteer: Media Relations volunteers are part of a professional volunteer team that develops and delivers the Red Cross story behind-the-scenes, on-camera, in-person and online through media channels, websites, social media feeds and other content platforms.
