Give! It’s a simple word. An action verb defined in dictionaries with meaning: to present voluntarily and without expecting compensation. Some might say it’s a small but powerful word. At FormFree, it is much more than a word – it defines the culture of the company. Giving is at the core of their practices and culture.
For the second in as many years, FormFree has partnered with the American Red Cross of Northeast Georgia to host the Heroes Golf Classic – an event that benefits the programs and services of the American Red Cross that includes disaster recovery, blood services, service to armed forces and youth preparedness programs. This year’s event featured sponsors and participants from all around the nation – from the western state of Utah to the coastal state of North Carolina.
After the success of the 2020 golf classic, FormFree committed to not only continuing their support of the event, but under the leadership of its founder, Brent Chandler, the company vowed to increase the success of the Northeast Georgia chapter’s major fundraiser. And increase it they did! Raising more than $57,000, they more than doubled their efforts.
To discover what drives FormFree’s philanthropy, you need only look to the company’s leadership. Brent believes that giving is more than just an action. It’s a way of life and an essential part of his success. One of the driving forces behind the creation of FormFree is his desire to remove some of the complications and hassles in the home buying process – to help people attain their dreams of becoming homeowners. This same spirit drives the company’s charitable giving.
With the success of the 2nd Annual Heroes Golf Classic, one might think that the FormFree team was done for 2021, but that was certainly not the case. Brent and his team followed that success by hosting a blood drive at his headquarters in Athens, Georgia. In a few short hours, 20 units of blood were collected, and an additional 15 new blood donors participated in a lifesaving mission.
