The American Red Cross Michigan Region is offering free resiliency workshops for military members, veterans and their families. The virtual workshops aim to build resilience and coping skills, help with stress management and ease symptoms related to trauma.
Resiliency workshops use small-group discussions and interactive activities to help participants connect with group members and better understand how they can reconnect with themselves and their families, peers and communities. All participants have a military connection.
Workshops are conducted by licensed Red Cross mental health volunteers.
Each year, the Red Cross provides around 471,000 services to members of the military, veterans and their families by leveraging a network of some 14,700 volunteers across the country and around the world. Learn more about our service to the armed forces at RedCross.org/military.
For questions about the workshops, please email Regional Director Jessica Wheeler of Red Cross Service to the Armed Forces and International Services, at jessica.wheeler@redcross.org.
