Each year, the American Red Cross immediately responds to nearly 66,000 disasters around the country— from home fires to tornadoes and severe winter weather, hurricanes and floods to transportation accidents and explosions. The Red Cross not only provides food, shelter and clothing, but also offers comfort and care to help those affected by disaster during their time of greatest need.
Members of our Annual Disaster Giving Program (ADGP) and Disaster Responder Program pre-invest in disaster relief, ensuring the Red Cross can pre-position supplies, secure shelters, maintain vehicles and train volunteers nationwide, so we’re always ready to respond, day and night. This support also means we can remain on hand to assist people as they recover and help become better prepared for the next disaster.
Our Blood Saves Lives Partners are an essential part of the life-saving network helping connect generous blood donors to patients who need blood to survive. The program is designed exclusively for our top blood drive partners to recognize and augment the tireless efforts they contribute to the community and national blood supply.
Donors that commit $250,000 or more annually to Red Cross Disaster Relief or Blood Services are recognized as Annual Disaster Giving Program (ADGP), Blood Saves Lives Program or Disaster Responder Program members, based on their giving level, and receive significant access to Nationwide Red Cross benefits, information and decision-makers.
Every day, the American Red Cross assists people who face disasters. We secure food and lodging for the family struck by a home fire. We help a deployed soldier get home for the birth of his son. We provide blood to the child battling cancer.
Through Ready 365, you can help too. As a Ready 365 Giving Program member, your company stands with the Red Cross as we provide lifesaving services.
