Greenwich, Conn. – February 23, 2024 – The American Red Cross Metro NY North chapter is proud to announce that four new people have officially joined the chapter’s Board of Directors: Connie Anne Harris, a distinguished business leader and advocate; Justin T. Green, a veteran pilot and experienced attorney in aviation law; Brian Wiele, a knowledgeable executive in the financial services sector; and Andrew Prchal, the co-founder of Gunner Roofing.

About Connie Anne Harris
In her 30-year career in the media business, Connie Anne Harris achieved notable success in brand and team building. Notably, she served as Chief Revenue Officer at Glamour in 2013 and was honored as Conde Nast’s first Chief Revenue Officer of the Year in 2014. Her impactful contributions extended to a four-year tenure as Publisher of InStyle at Time Inc., where she revitalized the brand. She also spent 14 years at Vogue magazine. Beyond her professional achievements, Connie Anne is a dedicated advocate for charitable causes, with a focus on health, women's issues, and historical preservation. Currently serving on the Advisory Board of the Hospital for Special Surgery, she also plays a crucial role as co-chair of development for Greenwich Emergency Medical Services and serves on the board of the Greenwich Historical Society, where she co-chairs the Christmas market and contributes to the development committee. Connie Anne has demonstrated her commitment to the American Red Cross by serving as the co-chair for the Red Cross Ball in 2023, and she continues her leadership role as the co-chair in 2024. A graduate of the Agnes Irwin School in Rosemont, Pennsylvania, and Boston College, Harris resides in Greenwich, Nantucket, and Vail with her husband, Jeremiah and their two beloved labs. About Justin T. Green
Justin is a commercially licensed airplane and helicopter pilot who learned to fly in the United States Marine Corps. He served as his squadron’s aviation safety officer after graduating from the Naval Postgraduate School’s Aviation Safety Program.
After serving in the military, Justin graduated from the Fordham University School of Law, where he leverages his flight experience to help represent families in major aviation cases. His legal focus is on airplane and helicopter accidents, and his legal work also includes personal injury and wrongful death cases arising from other types of transportation accidents.
In addition to his litigative work, Justin is a CNN Aviation Analyst who has been featured in dozens of on-air TV news segments. He also serves as one of the annual editors of Aviation Accident Law, one of the preeminent publications on the subject. He is a Past President of the International Air & Transportation Safety Bar Association, is Vice-Chair of the American Bar Association’s Torts and Insurance Practice’s Aviation Section and has previously served as Chair of the Aviation Section of the American Association for Justice. Justin also serves as a board member of the Kid’s Club of Tarrytown & Sleepy Hollow and supports the Semper Fi Fund and the Marine Corps Scholarship Foundation. About Brian Wiele
Brian is a Managing Director and Global Head of the Securitized Products Syndicate at Barclays. Based in New York, Brian joined Barclays in 2010 after serving as Managing Director in Fixed Income Sales and Capital Markets Origination at StormHarbour Securities. He previously spent 19 years in securitization at Credit Suisse and Deutsche Bank in both origination and syndicate capacities. A graduate of Villanova University with a Bachelor of Science in Accounting, Brian has lived in Westchester County for the past 30 years. With his wife, he raised three now-grown children in West Harrison and currently cares for their two dogs and one cat. Beyond the financial services sector, Brian is the founder and primary owner of Sterline Marina on Lake Wallenpaupack in the Pocono Mountains of Pennsylvania, and his interests include woodworking, cars, fitness, and boating. His background encompasses operations, organization, customer service, marketing and brand building, setting the foundation for the exemplary customer service that Gunner has become nationally renowned for. Andrew's commitment to philanthropy extends beyond his professional endeavors, as evidenced by his dedication to raising funds and awareness for charitable organizations, including St. Baldrick’s, Ronald McDonald House, and Cycle for Survival.
