Sarah Huizingh joined the board in December 2020 and was appointed Chair in 2023. She is also the Chair of the Board Development Committee. She’s been a passionate blood donor since her first blood drive in high school and now advocates for regular blood and platelet donation. Through her involvement with the board, she’d come to learn and love each mission of the American Red Cross.
Sarah has held a number of leadership positions with Motorola Solutions in marketing, communications and strategy roles. Currently, she is the Vice President of Global Marketing and Web Experience for the company. She has a bachelor’s in Mass Communications from the University of Utah.
Taylor Jones became a member of the Board of Directors for the American Red Cross of Utah, Greater Salt Lake Chapter, in 2021 and has served on the Board Development Committee. In 2023, she was appointed as the Board's Vice Chair. Alongside her duties with the Red Cross, Taylor is also an active member of the Utah Bankers Association.
Professionally, Taylor serves as the District Manager for the Salt Lake South District in the Utah Region. She has had a long-standing career with Wells Fargo, spanning over two decades. She started as a teller in 2000 and has held various roles within the organization. Her experience includes working as a personal banker, service manager and store manager before assuming the role of district manager for the Eastern Utah/Weber district in 2012. She has a bachelor’s degree from the University of Puget Sound.
Upon her introduction to the organization in 2020, Liz established an immediate connection to the many services the Red Cross provides her local communities. She served as Chair 2022-2023. She finds great joy supporting the organization’s mission through her positions on the chapter's committees. Liz enjoys working directly with Red Cross staff and volunteers and looks forward to many years of continued service.
Liz is the founder and Chief Strategist of Sobriquet, a Utah-based marketing consultancy specializing in marketing strategy, brand messaging, and client experience.
