American Red Cross volunteers are all ages and come from many different backgrounds. They make an impact in their communities in significant ways – sometimes in unexpected, fun ways. April is the Month of the Military Child and Aubri Johnson is being featured. She is a Red Cross youth volunteer and a child of military parents who are stationed in Daegu, South Korea. Johnson is also one of many military children who volunteer at the Camp Walker Veterinary Clinic and support their community in an important and fun way.
About the American Red Cross:
The American Red Cross shelters, feeds and provides comfort to victims of disasters; supplies about 40% of the nation’s blood; teaches skills that save lives; distributes international humanitarian aid; and supports veterans, military members and their families.
