Following in the footsteps of American Red Cross founder, Clara Barton, society members share a commitment to prevent and alleviate human suffering and are true humanitarians. It is thanks to their generous compassion that we are able to meet the needs of families in their darkest moments.
Clara Barton Society members give $1,000-$10,000 annually and play a crucial role in Red Cross mission delivery. In Fiscal Year 2023 the Red Cross:

The Clara Barton Society is comprised of exceptional individuals who show dedication, compassion, and leadership in helping others, just as Clara Barton did when she founded the Red Cross 140 years ago.
Clara Barton risked her life to bring supplies and support to soldiers in the field during the Civil War. She turned compassion into action by saving lives and relieving unimaginable suffering. In doing so, she blazed a bold path for future generations of Red Cross supporters and volunteers. Thank you for honoring Clara Barton’s proud legacy through your own compassionate support of the Red Cross.
“You must never think of anything except the need, and how to meet it.”
Clara Barton, American Red Cross Founder
